The Triforce speaks to you once, and what it says is that Senok is awake. An age ago the Fairy Prince of Kokiri Forest put him under the roots of that wood and spent the whole of his own light doing it, and this season the last of that light ran out. Where Senok goes, light stops holding — lamps gutter and fairies go dark and fall out of the air — and he draws the life up out of the ground itself as he walks, so that the grass goes over grey behind him and nothing will take root in it for a year. No sword ends him. Only a Sage’s light will put him back, and a Sage is not appointed — a Sage is made. The Triforce is plain about the terms: walk in behind him, help what he has left standing, and the light is yours by the end of it. Choose who walks it with you, and answer as yourself; the element you carry will be clear long before the end.

Six peoples answer to Hyrule, and a seventh only passes over it. Nothing here is scored — it decides who the trials are speaking to when they start asking.
Before the first trial
Who goes with you?
One of them walks the thirteen at your shoulder, and waits outside for the fourteenth. Nothing about this choice is scored — it only decides who is standing there when the wood makes you wait.

What would you carry?
One of them is in your hands for all fourteen. Scored no more than the rest of it — but the trials do notice what you reached for.
Dedication
The Sage Trials is dedicated to The Baron — my dad — who doesn't even know that I put this here, and was the one that brought me to the Kingdom of Hyrule for the first time, and made my dreams of an Ocarina of Time Sage quiz become a reality. Without him, this website would have no meaning.
